Archery
Cadets shoot arrows at various targets and get scores based on their bullseye and hits. It will be the first time this year the DHS JROTC will have an Archery Team.

Robotics Team
Cadets, with guidance from their teachers and mentors, build innovative robots, program autonomous code, and compete among other schools to advance to the JROTC VEX Robotics Competition National Championship at VEX Worlds.

Academic Team
Up to 6 cadets join together to combine their academic knowledge in quiz bowls and aim to qualify for the national competition held in Washington D.C
Leadership Team
Up to 6 cadets must learn and memorize practically everything about the program and the roles of being a great leader for a strenuous trivia competition.
Color Guard
Without a doubt our most valuable team, Cadets who join the Color Guard Team present our Nation's Colors at sporting events, parades, or any formal occasion that require our flags to be presented in an honorable and professional manner.
Drill Team
Cadets are put into groups of platoons or squads where they perform various commands. These include armed and unarmed squads and platoons.
Raiders
Cadets are separated into teams based on their physical abilities, and perform many arduous tasks. Some of the most well known activities are completing obstacle courses, team runs, etc.
Rifle Team
Members learn the basics of marksmanship. They must learn many different firing positions and how to shoot up to three different types of air rifles. Rifle team, unlike most others, is open to any student at Dalton High School, not just cadets in JROTC.
